“At The Dutchman Workshop, every build begins the traditional way. I carefully select North American hardwoods, thoughtful of the design. Each board is chosen for its character. Each grain pattern is considered.

I do not operate a production line. I don't build hundreds of identical pieces.

Instead, I focus on creating furniture one piece at a time. Designed to serve a family for decades rather than a season.

Wood is a living material. It tells a story through its grain, color, and texture. My goal is to work with those natural characteristics rather than hide them, allowing every piece to be unique.”

In an increasingly automated world, I truly believe handmade work carries greater meaning. I try to preserve that tradition. Creating lifetime quality furniture while sharing the knowledge and craftsmanship that make it possible.

My passion for craftsmanship extends beyond the workshop. Through my YouTube channel, I share projects, techniques, and lessons I have learned along the way. My goal is to help others discover the satisfaction of working with their hands and to demonstrate what is possible with a little patience and attention to detail.
